Questions, bugs, or a result you can't explain — email me anytime and I'll get back to you.
hello@tylerdix.comIs Slash free?
Yes — completely free. No ads, no accounts, and no in-app purchases.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Everything is worked out on your device. Slash makes no network requests and has no servers.
What can it work out?
Type or paste a CIDR (like 192.168.1.0/24), a bare address, or a subnet mask. Slash returns the network address, first and last usable host, broadcast, where the next subnet starts, the subnet and wildcard masks, usable host count, the hex netmask, and a bit-by-bit binary view. It handles /31 point-to-point (RFC 3021) and /32, and supports IPv6.
Can it read Cisco or ifconfig output?
Yes. Paste a line straight from Cisco IOS, ifconfig, or ipconfig output and Slash pulls out the address and mask for you.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone, iPad, and Mac, running a current version of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS.
